FET.NAT is a Hull, Quebec band that creates a bombastic and off-kilter mix of punk, free jazz, and noise punctuated by nihilistic franglais poetics.
Un collage de art punk, free jazz, breakbeat et de nouvelles littéraire habite la musique de FET.NAT. Influencé par le mouvement RIO et plusieurs autres références du sub-sub conscient.
FET.NAT brings together free jazz, noise, grooves and punk all while evoking the absurd theatrical humour of american wrestling influenced by the RIO movement and countless unnamable but familiar references from the sub-subconscious. Propulsive rhythms, unconventional guitar riffs, delirious saxophone, and comically nihilistic, theatrically driven spoken word collide in the improvisational intensity that is some of the most creative musicians that Ottawa-Hull has to offer: JFno on vocals, Linsey Wellman on saxophones, Olivier Fairfield on drums & synth, and Pierre-Luc Clement on guitar and samples.
